Casey's

Casey's Irish Imports, Inc. is an independent, family owned Irish gift store located in Rocky River, Ohio that has been a source of all things Irish and serving the needs of the Cleveland Irish community for over 30 years.  The business originated in the early 80s by Tom and Vera Casey, immigrants of Co. Mayo and Co. Galway. They always dreamed of bringing the treasures of their native Ireland to Cleveland, Ohio.  Vera was in the beauty salon business at the time and traveled home to Ireland several times annually. Her customers would often ask her to bring back a small trinket for them to give as a gift. She found herself bringing more and more back each trip and decided to start selling Irish items at her beauty salon in Lakewood. When the requests continued she decided to bring her Irish treasures to their own storefront in Rocky River.  In October of 1988 they officially opened. Over the years the shop doubled in size taking over two shop fronts and continues today to proudly serve Northern Ohio. Today, Casey's is now owned and operated by the second generation of the Casey family, daughters, Maureen Casey and Kathleen Casey Proctor. If you stop in you might be lucky enough to meet founder Vera, who at 91 still stops in to check on "the girls" or a granddaughter or niece maybe working as well. In addition the amazing staff (all with Irish roots!) of Casey's are always there to help you select the perfect gift. They have been helping generations of Irish families to explore and share their Irish heritage for over 30 years.
