Traditional Brigid's Cross
Legend has it St. Brigid gathered rushes form the floor of a room and wove a cross to explain Jesus Christ's birth, death and resurrection to a pagan chieftain and converted him to Christianity before his death.
Hang it on a wall or above a door to keep out want and evil from a home.
February 1st is the feast day of St. Brigid which is also the first day of Spring in Ireland.
